Full-time freelance translator working for Rank Xerox (software and documentation of printers, photocopiers, faxes and other RX equipment) and various agencies UK and London based for the Spanish and Latin-American market. Although I carry out translations of varied nature (commercial, advertising, legal, banking medical, pharmaceutical, etc), I specialise in translating software and manuals in the computing, electrical and mechanical fields (the whole range of UPS units by Emerson; the Parts glossary for Land Rover; the Focus and MLP software packages for Philips Medical Systems - Radiotherapy; the PressMan software package for printing systems; the World Travel Payment software package for hotel commission settlement for Citicorp, which is being used in the whole of South America and Spain; DART software and documentation for Perkins; Gas Power Turbine Generator manual for European Gas; Retailers Information System manual and software for Radius Retailer Ltd; videogames for Virgin, Prism, Techmagic; telecommunications and network products specifications for Cabletron Systems and Gandalf Premier including hubs, bridges, cabling, switching systems for AT&T-Lucent inclusive of software and documentation, etc. to name but a few). In the banking and insurance fields, I have carried out various translations for The Aetna International Umbrella Fund, Commercial Union, Clyde & Co. etc.
