In the past 6 years since moving from Italy to the US, I have worked on over 300 translation and editing projects. My localization and software translation clients include web-portal and software industry leaders. For these clients, I was responsible for the translation of resource files and help files, functional and cosmetic testing and linguistic QA. I have worked for 4 years in an Italian legal firm. As a member, since 1975, of the Italian association for the protection of copyright (SIAE), I have a considerable experience in translating legal documents (intellectual property, contracts, litigation). I have worked for 7 years in a Spanish government institution in Italy, where I organized cultural programs, exhibition, lectures, translated press releases, interviews, and brochures. In 2003 I have worked as instructor/editor for the Italian>English combination - program Practicum I for Translators of the University of Berkeley Extension, California.
